CASES IN CHRISTCHURCH. NONE OF EPIDEMIC TYPE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Four hunduod cases of simple influenza are reported in the Christchurch district for the last seven days, but only seven of the pneumonic type, which is considered a very reassuring percentage. No deaths have occurred, and no signs of the epidemic type have been reported anywhere.
