OPPRESSION IN RUHR.
CURFEW REGIME. DEATH FOR DEFIANCE. A BOMB AT WIESBADEN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, June 26. Advices from Dusseldorf state that three Germans who defied the order prohibiting walking in the streets of Buer at night-time were shot dead by Belgian patrols. Three other Germans were wounded in similar circumstances.
A Belgian sentry shot dead another German who was walking on the railway at Gladbeck. A bomb exploded in the Wiesbaden railway station and partly wrecked the station. A man and woman, both Germans, were killed. Exchange on Berlin is quoted at 600,000 to the pound sterling as against 530,000 yesterday. BERLIN, June 26.
The Lokal Anzeiger states that three British officers, acting under British instructions, are travelling in the Ruhr and acquainting themselves with the circumstances of the food blockade in the occupied region. They have also visited Krupps' and other factories. In consequence several stations have been freed for the purpose of the transport of food.
