The Duke of York opened the Imperial Education Conference convened by the Board of Education. ,\v In welcoming the overseas delegates he commented on the high standard of ~~ Dominion education, .and thought the , interchange of ideas would be of tre-. mendous benefit to the Empire’s youth. ; Lord Devonshire, in thanking the Duke of York, referred to the keen interest of royalty in the educational movement. i The conference will last 10 days. .
