STRIKES IN AUSTRALIA
RETURNS FOR THE QUARTER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. Received June 25, 10.30 a.m. *" SYDNEY, June 25. Official statistics show that during the last quarter there were 73 strikes in Australia, involving 18,201 workers, and a loss of wages of £278,015. New South Wales had 50 stoppages, the wages involved being £130,0^0.
