TRIAL OF MRS COOPER. CROWN ABANDONS CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. Mr T. M. Wilford, counsel for Mrs D. R. Cooper in the recent murder case against her late husband and herself, has been advised by Mr P. K. S. Macassey, Crown Solicitor, that he has been instructed by the AttorneyGeneral, Sir Francis Bell, to enter a stay of proceedings in connection with the remaining indictments against Cooper and his wife. The necessary documents to this effect were filed today.
