PROPOSAL FROM DUNEDIN.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. ' A letter from the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, covering a resolution in favour of abolishing the graduated land tax as applied to business properties in the city areas, was considered by the Wellington Chamber. The opinion was strongly against the proposal and the letter was merely ‘‘received.”
