STATEMENT BY MR HUGHES. Australian ana N.Z. Caine Assn. NEW YORK, June 19. At Hanover (Newframpshire), the Secretary of State, Mr C. E. Hughes, in a speech said the United States would submit disputes in which it was involved to the World Court of the League of Nations with greater satisfaction than to ahy other arbitral tribunal. He hoped the United States would' throw its full influence toward the maintenance of peace by supporting the permanent court.
