SHIRLEY POPPY WILKS.
Rev. William Wilks, of the Wilderness, Shirley, near Croydon, Surrey, who was for over 30 years secretary of the Royal Horticultural Society and who was the producer of the beautiful Shirley poppy, left property 'valued at £28,040. He bequeathed £IOO and £BOO sn l>ear until he marries and shall reside - * sit The Wilderness, or £SOO a year should lie reside elsewhere, to Frank M, Rendoli. The residue ’ left in trust for children of his sister, and on the death of the survivor it is to go to the Royal Horticultural Society, Vincent Square, Westminster.
