Thermometer: Wednesday .. 58 42 Thursday .... 50 35 Barometer. Thursday 29.40 Friday .. /. 29.40
Yesterday was unsettled, with heavy rain showers, 0.48 points falling, during the 24 hours. Winds from north-west. Mean temperature, 42.5 degrees.
Barometer unsteady at 29.40. Indications are for continued unsettled weather, with occasional heavy showers. Winds westerly, later from south-west, when improved conditions may be expected.
The Weather Bureau wires; The indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale. The weather will probably prove squally, with heavy showers, and the night very cold. Barometer rising.
