SONG WRITER'S DEATH.
A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned at an inquest on Archibald Joseph Naish, 45, of Cambridge Place, Pimlico, who threw himself out of a window. As Mr "Archie" Naish he was the composer of many humorous songs and ducts. His compositions included "The Village Pump," "Won't You Walk With Me?" and "Ilush-a-bye, Baby." lie specialised in songs at Ihe piano and he appeared at most of the London theatres and music-halls. It was stated that on Sunday morning after buying a ticket to visit his uncle at Wallington, Surrey, he went straight back home and leapt from a window. The coroner said that the man appeared to have a sudden impulse to kill himself.
