URGED TO COMBINE. MR (JUMPERS' ADVICE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. Received June 21, 9.15 a.m. NEW YORK, June 20. At Chicago, Mr Gompers addressing the Wheat Conference, declared that a union organised like labour unions was the only ' hope of the American farmer. He decried resorts to governmental and legislative curealls, and said: "There is no force in our social organisation that will not come to the council table with farmers When the latter find a way to oombine their strength."
