PROHIBITIONISTS DIFFER.
OVER COMPENSATION CLAIMS. RESIGNATIONS TENDERED. j ~ V Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn, Received Maxell 10. 11.30 a.m. SYDNEY, March 10. Several prominent prohibition advocates have resigned from Rev. R. B. S. 1 Hammond’s committee as a protest against the former’s decision to agree to compensation claims. They contend that Mr Hammond allowed Mr Holman, when Premier, to handcuff him on the issue, the result being that the prohibition movement is droning instead of progressing.
