RELIEF FOR THE STARVING. SAVE THE CHILDREN FUND. The chief Continental organiser of the Save the Children Fund, Dr. Armstrong Smith, is'at present in Hamilton. He is making an extensive tour of the British Dominions in connection with the great international work undertaken by the organisation with the object of preserving child life wherever it is menaced by conditions of economic hardship and distress. r Dr Smith will deliver a lecture at the Strand Theatre, Hamilton,, at 8.30 to-morrow (Sunday) night, over which His Worship the Mayor will preside. A lengthy Him will be screened, showing conditions in Russia, Austria and other famine areas. The film is said to be one of the most remarkable ever shown'.
