RESISTANCE STIFFENED.
HERR CUNO’S SPEECH.
INCREASE OF SABOTAGE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, March 8.. The Daily Telegraph’s Dusseldorf correspondent reports that French officials believe the effect of Herr Cuno’s speech will be to stiffen German resistance and policy of sabotage. There is no lack of volunteers for this dangerous game. Several offenders have recently been shot on discovery. The young are principally employed for this work at high wages.
LABOUR CALLS CONFERENCE

The Labour Party has decided to invite representations of the trade unions and Socialist parlies in France, Belgium and Italy to come to London to discuss united parliamentary tactics in reference to Ruhr security reparations. This is intended to be tint precursor of f larger international conference.
