EGG EXPORT TRADE.

'The poultry conference, the largest and most representative gathering ever held in New Zealand, after hearing Mr T. Buxton, the ? organiser for the- Farmers’ Union, carried a resolution affirming the principle of federating with the New Zealand Farmers’ Union on terms and details to he arranged later. Mr F. G. Brown, the Government expert, gave a lecture qn the quajity of eggs for export. Owing to the fact that production has been increased, £IOOO previously . sent abroad for Asiatic eggs now remains in tlie country. While there were indications to encourage the belief of the establishment of an export trade, the procedure was not so simple. Quality was the first essential, and nothing but llrst.grade eggs should be sent.
