A hitch has arisen regarding the nomination of Mb James Roberts, secretary of the Watersiders’ Eedera-, tion, as a candidate for the Harbour Board. It transpires that Mn Roberts had been a member 'GI the* Labour Parly only for four months, instead of six months, as provided by the Labour Party’s therefore his nomination is contrary to what was expected, and 'is not in order. Efforts are being made to overcome the difficulty, and it is possible that Mr Roberts will.s'tartd as a representative of the Watersiders’ Union.
