At the monthly meeting of the Hamilton Domain Board, held after the annual meeting. last evening, there were present Messrs R. G. Fowler (chairman), A. Swarbrick, J. H. Fow, .1. McKinnon, and Geo. Boyes (secretary). The- Hamilton Borough Council asked permission to continue Hie lease of section 25, cast belt, for a short while alter the lease ran out. —Granted.
The Methodist Sunday School applied for permission to use Steele Bark on Easter Saturday for a sports meeting, no charge for admission to be made. —Granted. Miss Greenwood, seoulmistrcss of die DevonpoiT Girl Scouts, wrote thanking Ihe Board for the manner in which they had been treated during limit- stay al the Lake. —Received. The London Street Methodist Sunday School askcil the Board’s consent lo hold a picnic al The Lake on Saturday, February 10.—Granted.
An offer was received for Ihc lease of sections 349 and 350, McFarlanc Street, at an annual rental each of £5 10s. —Accepted. The secretary reported that several leases had now expired, and it was decided lo request Ihc Legal and Finance Committee lo prepare a, report on th& inattcV
