The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:
Yesterday was unsettled, with heavy thunder showers. Winds variable. Mean temperature, 67.5 degrees. The barometer lias it rising tendency. Indications are for generally fair weather, with probably occasional electrical showers, with more settled weather following to-morrow. Winds variable, mostly from south-west to north-west. The Weather Bureau .wires: The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but moderate to strong easterly prevailing, and backing by east to north, then freshening. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with i*ain following. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency.
