MURDER OF DR RATHENAU

PLANNED BY SCHOOLBOYS. (Australian and N.X. Cable Assn.) BERLIN, October 5 The trial has begun of thirteen youths on a charge of murdering Dr. Ralhenau. The evidence shows that the crime originated in the brain of a 17-year-old schoolboy named Stubenrauch, who discussed'it with Hans Techow, aged 16, who in turn tried to enlist the support of his elder brother, Ernest Techow, who said he met the actual murderers Kern and Fischer, and discussed the plan for the murder of llathenau with them. Kern was supplied with ample funds and. sent by Ernest Techow into Saxony to bring a motor car to Berlin.

Ernest Techow says he never approved of the murder, but was under Kern’s influence. /

The trial was adjourned till October
