• V HAKIILTON LADIES’ CLUB. OPEN TOURNAMENT MEETING. The following qualified for the Ellis Cup yesterday morning:—Mrs Hay 90, Mrs Sutherland 93, Mrs Marshall 94, Miss Snodgrass 99, Mrs Bray 99, Miss Buddie 99, Miss Newell 100, Mrs Walshe 101, Mrs lilytU 102, Mrs Hankins 103, Miss Wilkinson 105, Miss D. Mackay 103, Miss Lewis 10G, Mrs Bliss 107, Mrs Miller 108. Mrs Guy and Miss Harvey junr., with 109 tied for 16th place; in the play off Miss Harvey won. The senior medal trophy was won by Mrs Sutherland 93 —15 —78. Tho junior medal .trophy was won by Miss Buddie 99 —21—78. The results of the first round of the Ellis Cup are as follows: Mrs Walshe defeated Mrs Bliss, 1 up; Miss Snodgrass defeated Miss Lewis, 5 and 4; Miss Newell defeated Mrs Bray, 1 up at 20th hole; Miss D. Mackay defeated Mrs Sutherland, 5 and 3; Mrs Hay defeated Miss Buddie, 1 up at 20th hole; Mrs Blyth defeated Mrs Miller, 1 up; Mrs Marshall d?' feated Mrs Hankins, 8 and G; Miss Wilkinson defeated Miss Harvey, 3 and 2.
