(To the Editor). Sir, —Certainly I agree with Cr. Denz that sewage comes before roads, but surely I think his praise of the Hamilton scheme -is somewhat previous. 'This gentleman is, I believe, a resident of Frankton, but his remarks only go to show that he does not know his own district. If he so wishes, I will show him houses galore where the sumpholes are flooded and stagnant for eight months of the year, and streets where the night patrol meanders forth at 9.30 p.m. Some sewage scheme is it not! —I am, etc., J.M.B.
