Another conflict bus occurred between the police and Akali Sikhas outside Amritsar. A Hindu Magistrate ordered the natives to disperse, but . they refused, and the police were ordered to use their lathies. Many Akalis j were, injured. DELHI, September 4. Serious riots also took place at j MulUm, between the Hindus and Mo-' liainrnedans in connection with a religious procession. Several lives are reported lo have been lost, and many were injured, ore-it damage was dona to buildings by looting and arson. Tinmilitary were requisitioned, but did ht>|| fire.
