CHARGE OF FRAUD
A WOMAN ARRAIGNED. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY ALLEGED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received September 5, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, September 4. Mr s Rita Marguerite Fiske, an Australian who was prominently associated with the entertainment of wounded Anzacs during the war, was charged at the Mansion House with fraudulently converting to her own use £137. The case was adjourned for a fcrtnight. Defendant's counsel said the charge was the result of a criminal conspiracy.
