DISCUSSION BY LEAGUE SCHEME TO BUY UP CURRENCY. ONLY £3,500;000 REQUIRED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, September 4. The correspondent of the Dally Telegraph at Geneva states that the Prime Minister 0 f Austria has been invited to discuss with the Council of the League of Nations the question of the femedies necessary to rfelieve Austria. It is said that the entire Austrian currency is purchaseable fcr- £3,500,000. The question is League should advance that sum' oh the security of the railways in order to reestablish fiduciary circulation. It. is also''stated that certain banks are prepared to lend Austria £15,000,000 if the League guarantees the loan.
