Mr George Sutton,, a business colleague of the late Lord Northcliffe, has been appointed administrator of Lord Northcliffe's personal estate pendente life. Mr Sutton’s appointment has been made on behalf of Lady Northollffe, who is the executrix under the will of July •2. Under the last will Lady Northcliffe is entitled to the residue of the estate. The earlier will contained power to pay certain annuities and it was proposed to continue certain payments to the poor. An Amerioan woman, who has arrived from Paris, reported the theft of her handbag containing jewels valued at £15,000, Including a necklace of 144 pearls weighing more than 1200 grains and two necklaces comprising 212 pearls. The world’s largest seaplane, named the Cromarty, when carrying out secret experiments in tho Scilly Islands for the Air Ministry, struck some wreckage on rising from the water and was holed in the hull. The crew donned lifebelts and baled and beached the maohine. The Cromarty has a topwing spread of 108 ft, and is fitted with two 650 horsepower engines. PARIS, August 30.
