WAITETUNA-RAGLAN. School Committee. At a meeting of the . Waitetuna School Committee; held last week, Mr resignation was received and Mr W. L. Covert was appointed chairman. There being sufficient funds in hand, it was resolved to order timber for the gymnasium. Cream-carrying. The new motor lorry has started, on its contract for carrying the cream, and from its appearance should be a guarantee against the misfortune which befel the cream-carrying last year. Soolal. A social was held in the Town Hall, Raglan, last week in aid of the Boy Scout funds, and proved a great success. Concert items were, contributed by Rev. Burgess, song; Mr Cyril Leak,-pianoforte solo; Mr Darby, song; Miss Waterson, monologue. The Raglan Town Band and orchestra provided instrumental music.
