A DELIGHTFUL DANCE.
The dance organised by the staff of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company held, last Friday, in the company's offices in Victoria street, was a delightful one from start to finish. About 50 couples were present, and the music by Mr Reg. Cooke was as usual of the best. Two unique features were introduced during the evening, which caused great amusement, and added considerably to the enjoyment of the evening. They were a novelty waltz for' which numbers had to be drawn, and a community sing waltz. Extras were played by Mrs W. 11. Hume and Miss Kathleen Frost. The large board-room was decorated and transformed into a supperroom, and here a delicious supper was laid, served, and done full justice to. The whole of the arrangements were perfect, and a credit to the committee —Misses Tait, King and Higginson, and Messrs Griffiths, Thomas and Anderson. , The hostesses were Mcsdamcs W. H. Hume, J. Barugh and W. CarrRollett. Amongst |lios c present were: Mesdames Elliott, Stranger, Hemphill, Simpson, Jenkinson, Cricket, Loveridge, R. R.
