Stains caused by fresh fruit are quite easily removed if old water is applied while the marks are stilt moist. But often it is not possible to deal with the slain immediately it has been made, and it may be dry before H can be touched. Very delicate fabrics may be. trcaiod by spreading I hem over a piece nf blotting paper and then sponging on the wrong side with hoi water. When a mark slid remains. Iry moistening it wilh a ■bUle, lemon juice and then quickly rinsing il wilh hot water.
