TO CLEAN WHITE FOX FURS.
It is net generally known that, white fox furs can be easily cleaned, at home. The (lrsl lliing is In make a solution of starch with plain cold water, mixing well till it has the consistency of cream. Do not cook it. Take a little of Ihe standi on the fin-ger-tips, and rub them into the fur all over, working from Ihe skin upwards, and taking care thai no moisture touches Ihe skin itself. The fur will now look as if it were absolutely ruined, but there will not hi' cause for alarm, as this treatment is quite safe. Leave Ihe mixture on Ihe fur all night, and by morning the starch will he quite dry, and will come off easily if the fingers are pushed into the fur. Shake the fur vigorously, in the open if possible. The white, glistening surface of fox will then be restored.
