Dr. and Mrs Douglas, accompanied by Miss Harrison, left to-day to spend the week-end in Auckland,
Mrs C. Bishop, of Christchurch, is paying a visit to Hamilton, and is slaying with her sister, Mrs Hunter, Palmerston street.
Mrs E. F. Lawrence, of Alr/ert St., Hamilton East, is spending a holiday with her sister-in-law, Mrs R. Angus, Summer St., Ponsonby.
Miss Campbell, who for the past year has been accountant at the Raglan branch of the Farmers' Trading Co., Ltd., left Raglan on Tuesday to take up a similar position in Auckland.
The floral collar is the latest addition to day and evening wraps. It is especially effective on a gossamer-like, fragile race coat, made of tulle and fine lace. Large silk roses and a variety of beautiful hand-made blooms remarkable for their size are used, a medley Of bright colourings being the result.
