METHODIST CHURCH
ROLL OF HONOUR UNVEILED. An interesting ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Hamilton, yesterday morning, when u tablet to the memory of members and adherents of tlie church who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War wa s unveiled. There was a large congregation, among those present being the Boy Scouts and the Girl Peace Scouts. Addresses appropriate to the occasion were given by Revs. E. 0. Blamires and E. T. Olds.
The tablet bears the following inscription: “To the Glory of God and hi memory of E. J. Allen, Ev Beach, B. J. Choat, F. G. S. Davis, C. Hall, W. Harris, C. Meachcm, F. L. Monk, E. P. Prisk, G. F. Stevens, H. J. Worsley, H. Ayling, F. Bauckhem, L. Clover, F. R. Frear, C. W. Hailwood, G. R. Lynds, G. Moffatt, C. Peart, C. Scrivener and .T. ,T. Peart, who gave their lives in sacrifice during the Great War of 1014-18.
