(Section 39*3, Block XVI., Maramarua Survey District). 87 Kahikatea Trees, containing 177,477 superficial feet. 72 Rimu Trees, containing 79,852 superficial feet. Distinguishing brand X. 39 Kahikatea Trees (scattered), containing 75,000 superficial feet. 5 Rimu Trees (scattered), containing 6513 superficial feel. Total 338,482 superficial feet. Excluded from above in the Southeast corner of the Reserve is an isolated clump of Kahikatea frees which the successful Tenderer shall have,the option of purchasing at the accepted rate of royalty. Terms of Payment—One-third purchase money to accompany Tenders, together with Timber Cutting ""License Fee of £l/1/-; one-third in six months, and one-third in twelve months thereafter. All such instalments shall hear interest at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum as from the acceptance of tender, and with the interest added shall be secured by "On Demand" Promissory Notes made and endorsed to the satisfaction of the Conservator of Forests. Conditions. —Intending purchasers" are expected to visit the locality and to satisfy themselves in every particular on all matters relating thereto. All timber whether standing, felled, or in logs, shall remain the properly of the Crown until all the instalments are paid.
