The firm of Hales, butchery and small goods establishment, is the oldest established throughout the whole Waikato, and the firm's catering must cover ground more extensive than any house of the nature between the two principal centres. To ensure that cleanliness is there to the very highest degree possible, steam and hot water percolate continuously and extensively through all avenues requiring attention in this direction, while the water requirements are pumped by the firm's own plant situated at the rear of the freezer building. The firm make their own ice slocks, and orders by the public arc specially catered for. There is no dearth or slint in this respect, as ;in inspection of the premises shows. The firm carries very extensive stocks. Beef and mutton and small goods of every description, the latter daintily and appetisins'ly arrayed, nre on the hooks, the counters, the shelves, or in the window. You can have meat either cooked or«uncookcd'at Hales' establishment. Beef and mutton is dispensed either wholesale or retail. In Christmas hams the 'inn makes a specialty. They are all of the firm's own curing. In poultry and turkeys the firm carries inhaustible slocks. If you have Ihe pigs you can make arrangements for the firm to cure them.
