The latter has been brought to the hospital. MAN FOUND DEAD. WITH GUN BESIDE HIM. WHAKATANE, Tuesday. Last evening the police were informed that, a man named MeCullough had been found dead in a tent. Deceased worked with the, Urewera survey party at Hatehi, about 20 miles out. The police left this morning to convey the body to Waimana, where an inquest will be held. Deceased was little known. He was previously employed as a waggoner.
