SHOW NIGHT SPECIALS AT STRAND A special show night programme, comprising selected attractions of unusual magnificence, will be presented at the popular Strand Picture House this evening, ,Tbc headliner is a screen version of the famous stage success by Augustus Thomas, "Rio Grande.” TIPs production, which is enacted by a cast of all-star artists, including Roscrnary Thebe, combines plot, thrill, adventure, gunlire, jealousy and romance. A splendid list of added attractions, included in which is a big Palhc comedy scream, “Fellow Romans," precede the big feature, while specially arranged music by the Strand orchestra will be a delightful feature of the bill. CORINNE GRIFFITH TO-MORROW. Gorionc Griffith will be presented tomorrow in Vilagraph's special production, ‘‘The Whisper Market.” Seats should be reserved for either day at the Novelty Depot, as great crushes are inevitable. , THE ROYAL—HOLIDAY SPECIALS. A rare show night programme in read holiday view will be screened for tonight only at the popular Theatre Royal, and so attractive is the list of subjects that a bumper house should result. Eddie Lyons and Lee Moran, the most popular team of clean and clever comedians that appear at Hamilton, will be seen in their latest and greatest success, “A Shocking Night,” , a joyous play of troubles and muddles i that arise through a man and his sweet- , heart posing as a friend and his wife 'for one night to enable the friend to nett a million dollars. Added attractions will include “Big Stakes,” a full-of-acction play of the famous Red Rider series, “Sleuths,” a big Mack | Sennett fun scream, “International , News,” and "Paramount Gazette.” | Popular music by Claude Smith, and Hie Royal orchestra will embellish the unfoldings. Seats should be reserved at Theatre, or over ‘phone 1580 before. 7 p.m, LAfcT NIGHT OF TOM MIX. The one and only Tom Mix, who has ! been delighting crowded houses in his great thriller, “The Texan," which stands at the head of one of the best picture programmes ever shown in Hamilton, will finish to-night when there is sure to be a real holiday attendance. The i supporting Sunshine comedy, “His Fury Beat,” is a laugh producer in a class by itself, and Hie third section of Eddie Polo’s “Do or Die," is exceptionally good. Four other subjects arc unusually interest- j ing films. A massive new programme I will screen to-morrow night, with , June Blvidgc starring as the chief at-' traction, “A Woman Who Lies,” and on Thursday yet another change.will, take place when Constance Binncy will present “The Stolen Kiss.”
