TERRIFIC EXPLOSION
IN ROUMANIAN FORT. VILLAGES IGNITED. MANY INHABITANTS KILLED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 16, 5.5 p.m. BUCHAREST, October 15. A terrific, explosion occurred at Fori. | Ruclcni- The fate of the garrison is , unknown, but many persons were killed ! in an adjacent village. The fort contained 180 munition j waggons, mostly from Russia. The explosions continued through- | out the day and night, shells and bombs j Doing thrown into the villages and ig- j aiting the surrounding forests.
