FRENCH ADMINISTRATION. SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS. (United Press Association.) SYDNEY, October 14. The Sydney Morning Herald publishes Hie minutes passed at a meeting of the Presbyterian Synod of New Hebrides in September. They contain grave charges against the French administration. Inter alia they allege that the natives arc being subjected to shameful abuses, that cases of illegal recruiting occur, and that native women are kept upon the plantations for improper purposes. The Synod expressed appreciation of the efforts of the Prime Ministers of Australia and New Zealand .to bring the New Hebrides under complete British control, and urged the Imperial and Colonial authorities to assist in carrying these efforts to fruition.
