ALEXANDER WATSON'S RECITAL. This evening, at 8 o'clock, Mr Alexander Watson, the famous elocutionist, who has created such a sensation sinee he began his recitals in Wellington some few weeks ago, will give his recital at the Town Hall. As il will be impossible for iiiiu to give more than one recital in Ihis town, Mr Watson has chosen his programme from several authors, beginning with "A Holiday in Bed," by Sir .1. M. Barrie. In the hands of this great elocutionist Dickens, Kipling. Mark Twain—selections from all three will be given Ihi s evening—become more than usually interesting. "The incomparable Alexander Watson" was the title given this artist on his first Australasian tour, and no other could so well describe him. At the present time no public man on the platform in England pr America has so great a popularity, and the reasons for this will soon be discovered by to-night's audience. The box plan is open at Paul's Book Arcade. THEATRE ROYAL, The wholly admirable triple bill I hat has been delighting unusualjy big attendances for the past two evenings will terminate to-night. No better picture of its clever class could be wished for than Wallace Reid's delightful "What's Your Hurry?" Elmo Lincoln's big - star offering, "Under Crimson Skies," is the best production of its kind seen for many a day. "High Spots at Hawaii" is a beautiful subject. Bert Lytell, the matinee idol of America, will be to-morrow's big attraction in his huge success, "The Misleading Lady," which is admittedly the finest of all this sterling actor's pronounced triumphs. A host of selected supporting subjects will include Eddie Polo's "King of the Circus." Seats should be reserved at Paul's. LAST NIGHT OF TOM MIX. 'Pom Mix is making a great popular hit with his latest thriller. "The Untamed," which is said to be the biggest and the best production the daring stunt-actor lias appeared in. It finishes to-night, and it should not be missed. The added attractions are excellent. Sunshine's large laughmaking comedy is screened to one loud, long yell, and yet another popular offering Is "The Diamond Queen," while "Mutt and Jeff," Pictorials and Gazettes are right up to standard. Seats should be reserved at. Paul's. TO-MORROW'S TWO STARS. Two massive first-flight productions will head to-morrow's new bill. Monte Blue will star in Paramount's vigorous drama, "The Kentuckians." and Marjorie Villis and James Knight, two London favourites, will present the nilBritish play, "The Silver Greyhound." Box plans are at Paul's. SOLE BROS.' CIRCUS AND ZOO. To-night Sol? Bros.' Circus and Zoo will commence a three nights' season onii location in Hood Street, and. judging by the interest, displayed-, will-have no difficulty in filling the large tent. There is something about a circus that appeals to all, old and young alike, and Sole Bros- arc said to provide an entertainment that fully meets the popular taste. Thrilling acts and humorous interludes are presented, the whole making a programme that is interesting from first to last. So far the New Zealand tour has been a great success, the Auckland season being particularly satisfactory. The zoo attached to the circus always attracts much attention, and the public are given an opportunity of seeing the animals fed in the afternoons.
