BUBONIC PLAGUE
NO DEVELOPMENTS IN SYDNEY. AUTHORITIES HOPEFUL. (United Press Association.) Received October 3, 10.40 p.m. SYDNEY, October 3. The only local plague development has been the capture of another rat on the wharf in the vicinity of where the previous captures were made. The authorities are growing hopeful that the present cordon will prove effective.
