The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 5) a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremncr;— Thermometer. Thursday .... 50 48 Friday 58 40 Maromctcp. Friday 30.25 Saturday 30.25 Yesterday was fair, with light westerly winds. Barometer steady at 30.25, with upward tendency. Indications are for fair and partly overcast weather today, and probably to-morrow, with variable winds, backing later to north, when unsettled weather may bo expected. The Weather Bureau wires; The indications arc for northerly winds, freshening and backing by west' to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled with rain following. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising after about, 24 hours; then the weather will become colder.
