The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from i) a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Breniner:—. Thermometer. Wednesday . . 60 43 Thursday .... 59 is Thursday 30.35 Friday 30.25 Yesterday was fair, with brisk westerly winds, and less variation in temperature. The barometer has a falling tendency. Indications are for fair and partly overcast weather during the next 24 hours. There are indications of changing conditions, which will probably result in rain showers and winds, backing from south-west to a northerly direction. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications arc for variable and moderate breezes, but northerly prevailing shortly. The weather appears cloudy and unsettled at times. Barometer little movement, but falling soon.
