HAMILTON KINDERGARTEN

140 MEMBERS NEEDED, TO ENSURE CONTINUANCE. A meeting of the committee of the Hamilton Free Kindergarten Association was held on Monda-y, Ist inst. The general financial position of the Association was discussed. It was found that, despite the efforts of the committee, jUO new members were needed to allow the kindergarten to be carried on until the end of the year. It was decided to call a special general meeting of the Association at Toorak Chambers to-morrow (Thursday), at 8 o’clock. Unless 140 new members were forthcoming by then the committee decided that it would have no option but to terminate the director’s engagement and close the kindergarten at Frankton at the end of the present term in the beginning of September.
