CAR OVER BANK

ACCIDENT NEAR CAMBRIDGE. A motor car accident occurred on the Te Miro Hill, some miles outside Cambridge, on Saturday night. Mr Leonard Ansell, assistant Town Clerk of Cambridge, was riding in a car driven by Mr Jack Rowe, of Fencourt, when the vehicle capsized over a bank and fell a distance of about 40 feet. ' Mr Rowe was pinned beneath the vehicle and miraculously escaped injury, but Mr Ansell was pitched out, and landing heavily sustained a fractured leg. He \Was conveyed to the Waikato Hospital, where, on enquiry to-day, we learn that he is as well as can be expected.
