(Jwynne, J. Clarkin, T. Clarkin. .Mrs Hopper was elected n life member of the club by acclamation. Several members spoke of the generosity and line sporting qualities of tins lady, who is always connected \\',ith all branches of sport. Committee, Messrs. S. Clarkin, T. Futon, M. Carroll, \V. Mathieson, and T. McCarthy. There was considerable discussion over tJiii mailer of one or mure selectors. Eventually it was decided that a sole selector be appointed, and Mr M. Carroll was elected to fill the position lor the senior Hfteen, and Mr J. Gwynnc for Ihe juniors. Mr S. Clarkin was appointed club captain, while Messrs 11. Burcli, P. Clarkin and C. D. Hopkins were appointed delegates to the Uugby Union. General. It was decided that the club's colours be green and while, and that the subscriptions be fixed at us for seniors, and 2s Gd for juniors. Mr M. Carroll was appointed coach for the coming season. The question of affiliation was discussed at length wilh much keenness, and it was eventually decided by a big majority that it be a recommendation to support Hamilton's affiliation direct with the Soulh Auckland Union. Donations of £2 2s were received from Rev. Father Bieaklcy ami Mr 11. Burcli, and £1 from Mr T. Kelly. Great enthusiasm was displayed throughout the proceedings, and everything augurs well for a very successful season. A motion of condolence was accorded Mr T. Clarkin in his recent sad bereavement, all present standing in silence. A vote of thanks- to the chairman concluded the proceedings.
