The Allied authorities, while examin-: ing German emigrants at Über Glogau,,* arrested 26 women, who were in pos- -* session of revolvers and hanl - grenades. Fearing that the German Government will withdraw money from Upper Silesia, the public are with-, drawing deposits from the savings banks, wflieh now limit the amount payable to 300 marks to each depositor. Upper Silesian merchants report that Berlin firms, anticipating a Geri man defeat in the plebiscite, arc re« fusing to renew contract's. A message from Beuthen reports that the Allied searchers discovered civil guards in several villages, .whowere really a fully equipped military "> detachment ready to augment tha garrisons. .„•
