A communique from Lord Curzon Informed the Turkish delegates to the Conference that the Allies intend to adhere to their obligations to constitute a united and stable Armenia, and the districts of which Armenia has been deprived must be restored. A Georgian wireless message states that the entire Soviet forces in the Caucasus—Russian, Azerbaijan, and Armenian—are attacking Georgia, whose troops are fighting bravely, but have 1 een compelled to retire. ADMINISTRATION TAKEN OVER. BY COLONIAL OFFICE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received February 28, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, February 26. The Colonial Office will lake over the affairs of the Middle East on March 1. A small department of experts has been formed to deal with Palestine, Mesopotamia, Aden and other Arab areas within the British sphere of influence.
