SWIMMING
HAMILTON LADIES' CLUB. The annual meeting of the Hamilton I adies' Swimming Club was presided o\er by Mr R. P. Staples. The report showed that the past season had been a most successful on?, and tho prospects for the new season were good. The balance-sheet showed a credit M £8 5s sd. The following ofPce-nearcrs wen. elected:—Patron, Mrs [Dr.) Douglas, president, Mrs (Dr./ Noonan; vicepresidents, Mesdames Hayter, ll'X"., Krasor. Manning, Uccstnn, Lawless, W'liili'hn'li, and Mis-; Harrison; club captain, Miss B. Benuftt; secretary pro I'in. Miss Harrison; cominitlce, Mrs iinss and Misses Chadvviek, Bennett, Whitlock and Mayes. It was decided to hold a carnival on Ine evening of March 15. The support of the Chamber of Commerce is to be asked towards- advocating increased accommodation and tepid water at the baths.
