WATERSIDE OVERTIME
SOME STEAMERS WORKED AT AUCKLAND AND LYTTELTON. DIFFERENCE AMONG THE MEN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The watersiders refused to work overtime at Lyttelton yesterday on all but five boats, and about eleven steamers were Idle after 5 p.m. AUCKLAND, Wedncsd; f. Conditions on the waterfront sin-wed considerable improvement yesterday, when a good number of men agreed to work overtime, while others refused. It appears that members of the union are divided on tin's issue.
