Mr McAlpine, vice-president, said the impression he had got from Mr Coales' questions and investigations was that he was very keen on the completion of the Lake Coleridge scheme, but he appeared lo be the most careful Minister whom they had ever had to deal with, lie was tied up willi the Finance Minister, but, tie left Ihe feeling thai lie would do all in his power to forward the scheme. 11 was resolved that n deputation from the League should wail on the Prime Minister on the first opportunity.
