HAMILTON v. TAUMARUNUI. A team from the Hamilton Club journeyed to Taumarunui last Friday, and played on Saturday. After a close contest, the home team won by 13 matches to tO, with one match unfinished, or 239 games to 231. At least six of the matches went the full three sets, and although Taumarunui established a good lead on the morning's play there, was every chance of the Hamilton learn staving off defeat until practically Ihe last match. The visitors were hospitably entertained by Ihe home players, who were successful in making the t.rip most enjoyable.
